Children's Privacy

lecom.uk is a general-audience site. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There are no accounts, no chat, no comments, no profiles and no contact forms on this site, so there is no mechanism through which a child could give us personal details.

Our position in one paragraph

We do not market to children, we do not design for children, and we do not run content that is aimed at children. Games are selected for a general audience — io games, puzzle games and casual arcade titles — and each game page states its difficulty and audience. If a title is identified as made-for-kids, it is flagged in our catalogue and excluded from personalised advertising, or removed entirely.

Made-for-kids (MFK) disclaimer

“MFK” is the advertising industry's made-for-kids flag. A game flagged MFK is treated as directed to children, which means it may only carry non-personalised advertising, and its audience data may not be used for profiling. Because MFK classification caps a site's advertising options and can affect the whole domain, we keep MFK titles to a small minority of the catalogue, and a game that is clearly aimed at young children is not published here at all.

Games are embedded from distribution platforms that make their own MFK determinations for the advertising served inside the game frame. We cannot override those settings, and we do not place page-level personalised advertising on an MFK-flagged game page.

UK Age Appropriate Design Code

The UK Children's Code applies to services likely to be accessed by children. We apply its principles in the limited way a static, account-free site allows:

COPPA (United States)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not have registration, and we do not ask for age or identity. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, emailprivacy@lecom.uk and we will investigate and delete anything we find; because we hold no account data, in practice this will usually mean confirming that nothing is stored.

Advertising and children

We do not serve interest-based advertising to users we know to be children. Where a game is flagged MFK, only non-personalised advertising may run. Parents who want to remove advertising entirely can reject the cookie banner, which prevents non-essential advertising scripts from loading on this site (in-game advertising inside a platform's iframe is controlled by that platform).
